I've been using Mike's service for about 2 years, I got the HD pack working perfectly each day, excellent upload rate and an outstanding costumer service, very quick responses when any problem came up.

Sometimes I actually felt I was using a local cable service provider...
The upload was always around 4000kbs, never below! This is a remarkable note considering that I'm at the other side of the Atlantic.

If this was Ebay, Mike would have 5 starts in his profile and I'm sure he would be a Top-Rated Seller.

I've been a subscriber for over a year now and love it. I live in Korea and I can usually watch programs in the "best" mode on my computer. I even connect it to my HDTV and watch Sports. It's a great service and is just like being back home in NYC again!

I've used the service for the past couple of years and I couldnt be more satisfied with it. The signal, which is switched through to my big screen tv in Western europe is superb, as is the channel selection.
Service has been flawless, on the rare occasion when there has been a technical issue, it has been resolved within minutes of sending the email. It is a truly professional service which I can highly recommend.

Signed up with Mike about a year ago and the quality of the Slingbox signal as well as the service received from Mike have far exceeded my expectations. We can actually watch USA based television programming in Korea!! and with the benefits of a HD DVR to boot, it's amazing and we couldn't be happier. Homesick and generally in culture shock at the major differences and sacrifices it requires from my family and me to be in a country like Korea, we sorely missed some of our favorite shows and found no way to watch them on Hulu or the network websites. Thanks lawyers! And as advanced as this country claims to be in matters of technology, there is essentially no option for a DVR, and forget about any real choice of English language progamming. After 6 months of testing Mike's Slingbox service, I finally decided to cancel our Korean satellite tv account with the local provider, to whom I was paying the same amount of money but received only 2 or 3 channels of essentialy horrible, outdated english language programming. I am not exagerating when I write that Mike's NYC SLINGBOX improved our quality of life, no doubt about it. Yesterday (Sunday), outside temp at 11-F, my wife had her Grey's Anatomy marathon while I took care of the kids, later they watched Sesame Street, and after getting them to sleep, my wife and I watched The Mentalist before calling it a day ourselves. I watch the news every morning from my IPAD while getting dressed, and from my Iphone when I'm stuck for hours in the frequent massive Seoul traffic jams. This is the best service around, I am in Hungary and had A2B TV and had to buy the slingbox, then they lost their contract and strung me a long for a couple months. I tried a couple other hosting companies. By far Mike has the best deal around. No equipment purchase or long-term contract, a straight up rental and works with us for package and PPV programming. He has quick response to any questions or issues. I have recommended him to several friends of mine.

I work in Thailand. As most expats here know, at the beginning of this latest NFL season TrueVisions - the only satellite TV provider in the country thought it would be a good idea to drop NFL altogether. They were nice enough to say sorry when thousands of us emailed (and thanks for your US$65 a month). That was it for me. I cancelled immediately and contacted Mike.

I watched all the NFL games and now I am thoroughly enjoying Linsanity! It's great as MSG channel is available on DirecTV so you can watch every Knicks game. Of course you get everything else on American TV too, which makes TrueVisions look like a joke - and only slightly less expensive.

I use the SD version and with Mike's proxies I stream at 1000Kbps to 1,500Kbps, which gives perfect audio and a very good picture. I'm sure if I spent more than $20 a month on my Internet connection I could get a package that would be good enough for HD.

Overall, very happy and can't imagine going back to TrueVisions.

I have been using SlingboxNYC's service for about 5 YEARS now (not months but years). I live in Israel and get great speeds consistantly. I also travel extensively all over the worls including Europe, South America, Asia and always have a great picture.

In the very very few times I have had any issues (which is extremely rare) Mike answers my concerns usually in minutes and resolves right away. I have never had to wait at any time. His service and attention is incredible!!!

Hi, I just wanted to share my experience with Mike's slingbox service.

I' m located in Greece and i' ve been using Mike' s setup for 1,5 year. I use a slingcatcher which is connencted to my 40" TV in my living room and i get a clear picture as if i was watching regular TV.

Although, the best thing is that if i ever have any issue, whatever it is or whenever that is, i have a quick answer and most imprortant of all a quick solution
I  really recomend Mike' s slingbox service (either the SD or the HD one)

I just wanted people to know that I have been using Mike's setup (slingboxnyc) for close to three years now and its just great!! Rock solid!!!

I live in London and get the whole DirecTv package as well as the complete Spanish package (being a fan of Argentine and South American footy) for an extra charge.
Downstream speeds are consistently between 1mbs and 2mbs and quality is always good. The ability to record/pause/delete is great as well, just like our Sky in the UK.

For me, problem issues have been few and far between but when the have arisen, Mike has dealt with them rapidly.

I dont have a superfast internet connection (5mbs download) but its still more than quick enough for this setup. At some point soon, this part of the east end will connect to the BT infinity network and at that point I will probably upgrade to one of Mike's HD packages.

Roll on the next 3 years!!!

i'd like to thank Mike for his awesome service, I rent slingbox from NYC since October 2008 and i can't say how incredibly satisfied i am.
Connection is fuper fast, picture and buffer the same, really really high and fast, when i need help, it's on the way minutes after i mail my q or problem.
Words cannot describe this awesome service, from A to Z has it all you'll even need or ask about iptv
Also rental prices are the cheapest around as i checked for years now, you'll never find cheaper rental for HD os SD slingbox setups no matter where to search, believe me

Been using SlingboxNYC now for over six months from Ireland and absolutely love the service, my wife gets her TV from home and I get my NASCAR and sports fix in perfect HD quality. I even get better coverage of English Premier League games than on cable here, without all the trouble of a satellite dish and a Sky subscription!

I've been a user of the slingbox service from SlingboxNYC for several years now. I'm located in Denmark (Europe), and when I'm connected to the Slingbox, my speed is about 4000kbps - 4500kbps, wich is more than enough to produce a great HD picture. I have a small PC connected to a 50" Pioneer plasma, and the picture I can get from the Slingbox is actualle comparable to my local cable picture quality (and sometimes it's better).

But upstream speeds and picture quality is one thing, another is the level of service that SlingboxNYC offers. In a word, it's exceptional. If you have a problem/question, you send an email to SlingboxNYC, and within an hour, you will have a response. And this is why I would not hesitate to recommend them, because eventually there will be some sort of problem, and when you are located 3000km away from the Slingbox, it's paramount that someone will take care of it in a timely manner, and SlingboxNYC will!

I am a resident of Denmark and use the service both in Denmark and China with absolutely no issues.

I initially used the standard resolution, but soon switched to the HD service as I normally watch the US edition of CNBC on channel 356. I also use it a lot for recording programs and do time shifting so I don’t always have to stay up at night.

Support issues a fixed rapidly, but they are very rare. Bandwidth is just great and even if I am on slow connection at my end when traveling, I still get a viewable picture. At home I get a perfect HD picture on my 42” TV.

I've been using the service from Slingbox NYC for about 18 months now. The service is fantastic. Anytime there is an issue, Mike responds very quickly, addresses the issue, and I'm up and running again.

I have two SlingCathcers setup, one in Germany and one in Switzerland. Full HD, pulling speeds between 2500kbps and 3800kbps. Any degradation of quality is always on my end, just a quick reboot of the router and speeds are amazing.

A previous poster asked about watching sports. For the most part it is great. Occasionally, there may be some stutter in the picture during a fast break on a basketball court, etc, but nothing that is annoying or sustained.

Two times, there were major problems. Once, I was unable to get the SlingCather or the iPad ap working. Mike re-ran the setup on his end within about an hour. Fixed. The other time, the SlingBox died. Mike had another unit setup for me to use while he switched out my original.

With the hurricane in NYC last year, Mike proactively sent out an email saying the hurricane was coming and service could be effected. All was great.

Overall, very, very pleased with this service. Living in Europe is much, much easier being able to watch programs and sports from home. Thanks again Mike!
