Hi - I have been following this for a whilst - prices are still a bit steep for the service - $200 for the hd service - but streaming is nowhere near what is claimed - you will be lucky to get nearer 1300kbps from this provider. 

$200 for HD service...Wow  I wish this was true,!!! :) Thats what the Big guys will charge you actually a lot more then $200 a month (more like $250), and they also charge you a $400 setup fee and make you sign a contract, with me No startup fees and No contracts on any slingbox rental I handle

My price is about half that and you will see much higher speeds, I think you have me confused with someone else

Outstanding service. Very proffessional. So far has been just great. As for speeds, Mike has a great speed compared to others. Dont forget so many varibales control speed. Whats important is Mike's speed in responding to his clients needs and questions. Thanks Mike for the great experience. keep it up

I'm in the UK and can't recommend SlingboxNYC highly enough.

Great service, I regularly get speeds of 1500-2000k and my broadband is nothing special. Haven't had any issues as yet but he is very quick to respond to email.

Good Question...

Every Setup is different, some of my customers see close to 2MB and some others closer to 1MB

The closer the distance between us and the better the ISP on your end, the better the speeds you will get

Simple as that.

But as you will find out most "independent slingbox host providers" (such as I am) cant give you even near 800k on your end.

The Big providers can, (a2btv, Fliptube) but they will charge you almost Double what I do, make you pay startup fees ($200 and up), and make you agree to a 2 year contract

PLUS they dont have the Great FAST Support that I do, as others in this thread have stated :)

So does that Clarify it a bit more for you ???
