Currently we are recruiting for a Field Sales Engineer supporting the National Account Director. To be successful in this role the FSE will need a strong background in video, networking, IPTV and strong sales/customer service experience and the ability to travel 80% of the time.
As a member of the account team the FSE will
• Develop and present technical information to customers, including Senior management and members of technical staff.
• Manage the evaluation of IneoQuest products and solutions at customer locations.
• Respond to common inquiries from customers.
• Responsible for managing installation of IneoQuest products at customer sites, initial training and initial customer support .
• Provide feedback to management and other members of the account team regarding account status, product issues, and possible improvements
• Provide back-up technical support to customers, as needed and requested by Professional Services or other Sales personnel.
To be successful in the role, the FSE will need:
• 5 + years experience in the Telecom and digital cable market
• Must be an aggressive self-starter
• Extensive knowledge of MPEG, ASI, Ethernet, TCP/IP, IP Routing, VOD Servers, multicast, unicast, QoS, RF, QAM.
• Excellent communication skills and a high degree of professionalism
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret engineering documents, and technical journals
• Solution based selling is required.
