this is mostly regarding MATV

I am just wondering How to use optic fiber IPTV (PEO TV from Sri Lanka Telecom) connection to a Hotel.

So far they connect several set top boxes (Ethernet input-AV output) to modulators and get a single RF output to distribute to the tv outlets in Hotel.
How ever SLT (Sri Lanka Telecom) has fiber rings all over and there is a possibility that can get a single fiber optic connection to the site.

there are modulators  with fiber optic inputs.

1.) Is there a method that we can use fiber optic connection and connect to a some sort of switch and distribute to Tv oultletsl and use set top boxes in each tv outlet? (avoiding modulators)

2.) or having modulators if we can connect fiber optic directly to modulators?

Idea to cost down the system.
